Beemster supported Arbor Day 2011
We are thrilled by the great response to our promotion to support Arbor Day.
We would like to thank all our loyal customers and Beemster cheese connoisseurs who joined the promotion this past April. Thanks to their enthusiasm we where able to contribute the planting of 8,635 trees in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation. The Beemster Farmers support the well being of the Earth with their advanced sustainability program and are especially proud to have been part of this first of its kind cheese promotion. Together with our customers we are aiming for ' Happy cows, Happy farmers, Happy planet!
This special edition of Beemster Farmers Choice was available in the cheese stores throughout the months of April and May to support the Arbor Day Foundation. Arbor Day 2011 was held on April 29.
